I take great pride in the products that we make and strive to ensure that they are the best, and remain the best, pickles, sauces and chutneys that you will ever eat. You are able to, and I hope you will, comment on every product on this website and I assure you that your views will be taken seriously. In particular, I am interested to know how you use my products. For instance, do you simply use them as condiments or do you use them in your cooking, or as a marinade etc.. Do they form part of an unusual culinary combination? I would love to know, so let me know!

I always tell customers that our products last for years after opening, safe in the knowledge that they rarely will need to as they are almost always finished long before they deteriorate. There are, however, a couple of important things that you must remember to ensure that the products do last. The oil on the pickles is there for a reason. It forms a barrier which keeps the pickle in good condition. Do not mix it in or dispose of it. Just “dig” through the oil and let it drain off before putting the pickle on your plate. And, ALWAYS serve them using clean, dry utensils. Using a spoon with other food on it might not contaminate and ruin your jar of pickle, but why take that chance? We generally place the jar of pickle or chutney on a saucer with a teaspoon beside it and use that spoon exclusively for that product during that meal.

Although you might have read much of this elsewhere on the site, it is worth repeating.

All our products:

• Are prepared and cooked by hand using the best available produce.
• Are free from artificial preservatives, flavouring and colouring.
• DO NOT require refrigeration once opened.
• Are naturally preserved and have an extremely long shelf life.
• Are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, unless otherwise stated

I hope you enjoy using this website as much as you will enjoy eating my products. My friend Tony has worked hard on this site and deserves all the praise that I can possibly muster! Thanks, Tony.

I thank you too for any purchases you go on to make. Your custom is always appreciated and never taken for granted.

Love and best wishes,
Chris
